Pavel Loskot obtained BSc degree in Biomedical Engineering and MSc degree in Radioelectronics from the Czech Technical University of Prague, Czech Republic. He was then Research Scientist and Project Manager in the Centre for Wireless Communications at the University of Oulu, Finland before moving to Canada to earn the PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta. Since 2007, he was a Senior Lecturer in Engineering at Swansea University, UK. He is the Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and the Recognized Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. His current research interests lie in applications of statistical signal processing methods to problems in telecommunication engineering and computational molecular biology. |

Sansanee Auephanwiriyakul is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chiang Mai University in 1993 and later pursued graduate studies at the University of Missouri–Columbia in the United States, earning a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1996 and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and Computer Science in 2000. She has long taught at Chiang Mai University, where she has served as Head of the Department of Computer Engineering and Deputy Director of the Biomedical Engineering Institute. Her main research interests include multimedia databases, content-based retrieval, pattern recognition, digital image processing, computer vision, neural networks, fuzzy logic, type-2 fuzzy set theory, and data fusion. She has won multiple best paper awards at international conferences and is currently a Senior Member of IEEE and a Lifetime Member of APSIPA; she also serves as an associate editor for several international journals and as Vice Chair of Member Activities for the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society. |

Dr. Deepika Koundal is currently serves as a Senior Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland, specializing in artificial intelligence, computer vision, medical image processing, neuroimaging and deep learning. She holds a B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering and has received several prestigious accolades, including the MSCA Seal of Excellence from the European Commission. Recognized as a top 2% researcher by Stanford University in 2023 and 2024. She is also an Adjunct Researcher at Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Vietnam, and a Senior Associate Professor at UPES, Dehradun, India. She has earned multiple research excellence awards from UPES and has published numerous research articles, edited notable books, and holds several patents. Additionally, she contributes as a guest and associate editor for leading journals, including IEEE and Elsevier. |
